The Community

Evergreen, in the Litchfield hills, has been designed to incorporate all that nature has to offer into maintenance free living. Our walking paths find their way through Evergreens, Maples and White Birch. Exercise was never so enjoyable! Evergreen is bird-watching at its best! Our site plan has been designed to blend with the natural beauty that abounds on 62 acres of pristine New England countryside. The Homestead will be the focal point of our campus, our clubhouse. Our floor plans incorporate open, spacious, single level living with classic architectural elements to give Evergreen the feel of a traditional New England village.

Each building will house a variety of different floor plans. Each floor plan will be unique to its neighbor. Floor plans have been designed to make the most of the landscape and vistas. Patios & balconies have been strategically placed to maximize privacy and views.

The Homestead

During the early 1800’s, around 1816, the Homestead was built by D. Warner for his family. Surrounded by rose gardens, strawberry fields, orchards and towering trees, the statement home with four fireplaces and wood columns symbolizes an age of comfort and grace. As Evergreen’s clubhouse, the Homestead lends itself perfectly to becoming the center of activity. It will be renovated to include a dining area, club room, library, computer center, arts and crafts room, game room, woodworking area, and a fitness center with whirlpool spa and swimming pool.
